Essential Micronutrients and How to Get them From Your Food with Dr. Barbara Keck–#024

My guest today is Dr. Barbara Keck, a licensed and board certified naprapath.  (If that term is unfamiliar, then stay tuned to learn more!)  Dr. Keck is a nutritional counselor, and the founder of Kuma Healthcare and Wellness Center.  She has over 10 years experience in helping people connect with their bodies’ natural healing abilities.  She also is a frequent speaker at seminars about nutritional counseling and detoxification.

Dr. Keck is a doctor of naprapathy, which is different than a naturopathic doctor.  Naturopathy is a form of homeopathic medicine, which relies on herbal remedies for internal disorders.  A naprapath differs in that they work with the physical body with gentle manual manipulation; it is closely related to chiropractic.  Listen to my entire conversation to find out more!

What can naprapathic medicine do for you?

  • It can analyze the diet to see what needs to be added/removed, especially vitamins and minerals.
  • It can heal from neck pain, back pain, menstrual problems, headaches, herniated/bulging discs, fibromyalgia, digestive problems, and food allergies.

Dr. Keck focuses on several key vitamins/minerals in her evaluation of patients:

  • Calcium
  • Phosphorus
  • Potassium
  • Manganese
  • Magnesium
  • Vitamin C
